The Enriched fruit!

NEX-7 & 100mm SONY Macro lense.

I was searching for a while to find the best micro subject to shoot at.

To my surprise it seemed really hard to find one to lean forward and make a crazy pose to capture it on the sensor.

Finally I saw these little fruit but I really wonder if anyone eats them which would concern me the least as I'm right then was all about the color shape and pattern.

The above to me is a finate peace for the closeup category. some people called them cherrys and some called them apples. I have a definate Idea on the above - " I don't care"

Clariion CX4-120 Shutdown and Pwer UP procedure.

Steps to Shutdown the Clariion CX4-120
Tuesday, March 7, 2012
>> Shut-Down Procedure
1. Perform SP(Storage Processor) Collects on Both SP-A and SP-B using Navisphere

2. Shut down the hosts
Shut-down all the server connected to the servers. (or) stop all the I/O activity to the Clariion Supported LUNs at Server end. Wait approximately 5 minutes.
(Stopping the I/O allows the storage processor to destage the cache data more quickly, and permits the servers attacehd to the storage system to shutdown properly. UNIX systems attached should unmount the File systems.

3. Power off the FC switches
(Required if this is a DC Shutdown)

4. Finding the Power switch on the SPS Switch ( Stand by Power Supply)
Ussually SPS comes as a pair in any clariion.
This is a switch, where there two plugs are connected adjecent to each other and the power botton is to the right or left of those two plugs depending on the orientation of the switch.

5. Check for Dirty Pages
dirty pages are the Leftover I/Os that needs to be written to the disk and are still in wait status at the SP cache, If we find any after SPS power down, we need to contact Support.

6. Turn off the power switches on the Standby Power Supplies (SPS).This will force the array to flush any data in the write cache out to the vault area on the first five drives. The array will then turn itself off after that has finished - it can take up to 2 - 10 minutes.

-->in Navisphere, Right Click the clariion that you want to shut down. click on the properties then you click on Cache Tab, The dirty pages row should be empty.
7. Power off disk array enclosures (DAEs)
(We can leave them as it is and let the Datacenter power cut take care of it or we can unplug the power chords)

>> Power On Procedure
1. Power on FC Switches
(Takes around 10 minutes to start, so do this first)
2. Power on DAEs
(if the power chords are unplugged, we need to plug them back and verify if the DAE as running by looking at the LEDs. Green indicates Healthy)
3. Power on SPS ( Standby Power Supply)
(Once power is ON, Wait for 10 minutes)
4. Power on Hosts
(Verify if all the LUNs are available and are working good.)

Thanks to http://vishalbdoshi.blogspot.com, He has a short check list that you can follow while performing the same!
